Developers partner with CCMA to build better communities
Critical to making new developments successful is getting an experienced property management firm involved early in the process. CCMA staff members have specialized in working with developers in every step of the way from the creation of the governing documents through design guidelines and construction to making an orderly transition from the developer to the new board of directors. CCMA has assisted in all forms of projects ranging from single family homes, town homes, condo complexes and Master associations.
The CCMA Difference is that we will also work with the Sales Center and we will stop in and introduce ourselves to be a resource for the sales team to utilize to help them with the new home buyer. We can help the Buyer understand the process, help them understand the governing documents and encourage participation with the HOA to create a harmonious relationship between the building and buyer.
During the process CCMA can support to the developer in several ways including:
-
Managing project budgets
-
Assisting in architectural guidelines
-
Consulting in amenities design
-
Supporting development of founding and governing documents for HOAs, including Rules and Regulations, Architectural Standards and making certain that this is conveyed to the Sales Center.
-
Managing the transition from developer to homeowner boards
-
Facilitation organizational meetings
-
Training the board of directors
During the process CCMA can support the new Buyer by:
-
Communicate with new owners & answer questions (there are usually a lot of questions)
-
Stopping by the Sales Center and listening to their needs.
-
Helping new Owners get on the Portal and have access to information and so they can submit their Design Requests
-
Encourage participation and respond to their needs
Getting CCMA involved early in the development process helps ensure a sound foundation for the new HOA and its board. Its input to the process is based on its current, extensive experience with its HOA boards, effectively bringing the voice of the customer to the development process. This helps ensure what is learned from current homeowners can be included in developments for new homeowners.
At the conclusion of the development process, CCMA is then best qualified and ready to continue the responsibility as the property manager.
