CONSULTING SERVICES

One of the most unique services that CCMA offers is that we will be happy to consult with your board and “secret shop” your community board meeting for a nominal fee.  This fee is waived if you hire CCMA for management services.

Although it is often easy to blame the management company for poor service, the management company also needs decisions and direction to allow them to act.

Our report will let parties know if they are partially to blame and so we can work out alternative options to implement.  It could be that you have a strongly opinionated board member that is intimidating the other members or the manager.  You could have a disengaged property manager that is overwhelmed.

Sometimes we recommend changing the meeting format or the frequency of meetings.  Sometimes we may suggest different ways to communicate between the meetings and so the Board is assured that things are being done, but the Manager isn’t responding to multiple emails about the same thing.

For a secret shop, we usually encourage only 1-2 members to know that we are present at the meeting.  We usually will not participate and just listen and take notes on what we see as an outsider.   Online meetings are much easier to attend incognito, but we have done meetings in person as well.
